Abbey Area Landscape and Tree Strategy

Abbey Area Tree Strategy

Retaining as many of the existing trees as possible we aim to create a green fringe around the existing towers and new developments, with spaces for residents and the local community. Green fingers extend from the park, through the new and existing buildings, into the new public realm enticing people into the existing park and creating green pedestrian links and high quality public realm for all.

The landscape proposals weave the new development into the existing fabric of the neighbourhood; with tree lined pavements, quiet residential areas and vibrant local shopping parades.
